Job Description

The Quality Technician ensures the organization's compliance to the required quality standards by maintaining documentation including inspection results. Manages the gauge calibration system. Suggests continuous improvement ideas and cost savings opportunities.

Responsibilities:

· Maintains calibration standards and records for all gauges including employee and customer owned gauges.

· Updates PPAP related information as requested by the Quality Manager or Quality Engineer.

· Participates in Quality Department meetings & APQP meetings as requested

· Complies with all Company environmental, health and safety requirements.

· Reads and interprets drawings.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Prior 3 year inspection experience is a must

· Understands the process flow of customer complaints

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other software packages

· Proficient with the Plex Quality Module.

· Demonstrates cooperation and teamwork.

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs

· High School Diploma or GED required

· Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

The base pay range for this position is $20 an hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
