About us
Andrew Developmental Disabilities Services, LLC (ADDS) was established in 2010. ADDS is a Medicaid Agency certified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities to provide Supported Living/Residential Care, Shared Living, and Non-Medical Transportation to individuals within the Ohio Waiver Programs.
Just know that ADDS committed because serving people with developmental disabilities throughout the state of Ohio is something of a passion for us.
We are seeking a FULL-TIME Office Manager (Defiance County, Ohio)with at least TWO (2) YEARS MINIMUM administrative experience, preferably Residential Direct Support Care or home healthcare, that will organize and oversee multiple tasks.
Qualifications
- A high school graduate with the ability to efficiently manage staff and total office organization.
- Adhere to HIPAA Policies and maintain client confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with the staff and public are very important.
- Valid CPR & First Aid certification
- Valid Driver License
- Criminal background check (BCI & FBI – depending on residence in Ohio or other states)
- Additional background checks (7 check lists)
Job Duties responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following)

- .The ideal candidate MUST have a strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, and the ability to work well with individuals, stakeholders, and community.
- The person must be able to balance priorities and manage multiple activities seamlessly as well as deal with confidential matters with discretion.
- The incumbent shall comply with all policies and demonstrate respect, support, dignity, and rights of individuals served by the Andrew Developmental Disabilities Services.
- Responsible for recruiting, training, supervision, and monitoring of DSP staff to perform

- Responsible for orientation of ALL staff(s).
- Responsible to COVER ALL SHIFT when DSP is not available to work the hour or at the home.
- Timesheet and billing.
- Under the direction of the Program Coordinator or Director of Operations, work on special assignments or projects for management team members.
- Responsible for managing active calendar of appointments and records of individual served.
- Work closely and effectively with the Director of Operations and keep Director of Operations well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
- Serve as primary contact with the public and stakeholders.
- Follow-up on incoming issues and concerns including those of a sensitive and/or confidential nature, manage tense interactions with tact and poise, and appropriately determine response and needed notifications.
- Work to build positive relationships crucial to the success of the organization. Assist with partnership development, event planning, and other community focused connections.
- Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters efficiently and proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion often with deadline pressures.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and events; arranging space for meetings and training from partner agencies and Defiance County DODD; shopping for/ordering food for trainings and regional meetings.
- Will attend all scheduled meetings including provider interview, partnership, and management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Position does require frequently alternating between sitting, standing, stooping, and walking.
- Occasional operation of a vehicle under inclement weather conditions.
- Experience in using telephone, computer, fax, copier, and other basic office equipment.

Immediate Supervisor
Annual Salary Range - $39,520 to $40,560

Annual Bonus – Based on office Revenue
Working Hours – 8:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Ability to Commute
- Franklin, Paulding, Van Wert, or Wood & surrounding Counties with reliably commute for training prior to beginning position. (Required)
