The Opportunity

The Validation & Integration Lead plans, organizes, leads and controls the Validation & Integration local group for technical and project related matters. He/she reports directly to the V&I Director and coordinates the activities of the local V&I group with the partners in the other departments of the organization, ranging from R&D, technical marketing, purchasing, logistics, quality, production & sales.

You will make an impact by....

Managing the people and organize the workload within the local V&I group: Creating a good cooperation within the group and with the interface partners, balance the workload and coordinate all activities, taking into account the aspects such as quality, time-schedules and cost.

Participating and organizing participation in the different development projects to cover the validation & integration of electrical/electronic/mechanical/optical/SW design for these products in accordance with the respective standards (FAA, ICAO,IEC,CAAC...).

Developing and maintaining requirement traceability matrixes for new product designs. Including: acceptance criteria, test procedures, and test reports to meet testing goals.

Interpreting how internal and external product requirements apply to products.

Coordinating test plans and schedules to meet project timeframe.

Implementing tests and analyzing test fixtures, machines, and data to solve problems with test programs and equipment.

Performing testing utilizing laboratory test equipment including, but not limited to, vibration, shock, temperature, and leakage.

The talent we want to inspire has...

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Minimum of three - five years of experience with measurement tools (oscilloscope, power analyser, spectrum analyser...) and measurement methodologies

Expert knowledge on maintenance & calibration of test equipment & laboratories

Knowledge in software programming & measurement tools

Knowledge in electro-optical theory knowledge

Knowledge of material properties & mechanical theory

Insight in modern production processes

Experience in project management and related tools

Experience with people management including competence management, career management, communication techniques and related tools

Professional knowledge of relevant international and national standards (FAA, ICAO, ...) and CE/EMC/IEC requirement

Professional knowledge of products and systems used on airports
