Seeking a new career challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring a strategic, data-driven and collaborative Sr. Director of Sales Operations to join our dynamic Growth Team! This position reports to the Chief Growth Officer and is responsible for architecting and executing the next evolution of Woolpert's sales infrastructure! This senior role is pivotal to enabling scalable growth, enhancing sales effectiveness, and empowering the Global Sales Team through systems, analytics, and performance governance.


Responsibilities




Sales Strategy & Planning

Partner with the CGO and business line leaders to drive short- and long-term sales planning aligned to firmwide strategic priorities.
Lead the design and implementation of sales forecasting, territory modeling, pipeline health reviews, and performance KPIs across markets and sectors.
Establish and continuously refine segmentation and coverage models to balance opportunity, capacity, and ROI.

Process & Performance Enablement

Build, implement, and maintain sales processes that drive predictability, accountability, and speed-to-value.
Identify and remove inefficiencies in the lead-to-contract lifecycle; establish SOPs and playbooks for BD and client pursuit teams.
Create a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence with standardized metrics, dashboards, and business reviews.

Technology & Systems Ownership

Own and optimize the use of our CRM, reporting tools (Power BI, etc.), and integration with proposal systems and project management tools.
Partner with IT to ensure tech stack scalability, adoption, and usability for growth-focused initiatives.

Data, Analytics, & Insights

Build and lead a data-driven reporting engine for executive dashboards, sales KPIs, win/loss analysis, proposal volume, and growth metrics.
Deliver actionable insights that improve client acquisition, retention, and market penetration.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and develop the Sales Operations team* with a focus on mentorship, accountability, and cross-functional alignment.
Foster a strong partnership with marketing, government affairs, proposals, and service delivery teams to drive integrated go-to-market execution.


Qualifications




Minimum Requirements

10+ years in sales operations, revenue operations, or GTM strategy roles; at least 5 in a leadership capacity
Proven experience in a professional services, engineering, AEC, or consulting environment
Expertise in sales forecasting, territory management, and pipeline reporting
Strong systems knowledge (CRM, BI tools, sales enablement platforms)
Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate matrixed environments
Analytical mindset with operational rigor and a bias for action

Preferred Skills and Abilities

Experience supporting federal/state/local/government contracting or design-bid-build/proposal teams
Familiarity with PS-driven revenue recognition and backlog reporting
Exposure to M&A integration, commercial pricing models, or global team support
