Job Description

Your Contribution

* Monitor supplier on-time deliveries via oral and written documentation to ensure zero-part outages in production.
* Set-up premium transportation as required to ensure zero-part outages in production.
* Contact suppliers failing to send ASN's for shipments. (Advanced Shipping Notices) Request and require corrective action plan to ensure future compliance.
* Manage component parts availability to allow for 100% schedule conformance.
* Complete cycle counts and investigate root causes for discrepancies to ensure zero-part outages in production.
* Complete RDR's (Receiving Discrepancy Report) investigations as required to ensure proper inventory levels.
* Maintain inventory accuracy within respective MRP controllers and SAP parameters.
* Responsible for monitoring inventory targets and making appropriate adjustments for approval.
* Clear all open deliveries (VL011) weekly.
* Contact suppliers to resolve discrepancies in shipping cost versus purchase order agreements.
* Follow up with Purchase Requisitions in SAP to ensure SA's are generated.
Your Experience & Qualifications

* Associates degree in Business/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related field and minimum of two (2) years' experience in a manufacturing logistics environment.
* Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.
