Shoulder Portfolio Sales Representative - (Cincinnati, OH)

The Shoulder Portfolio Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving the adoption and utilization of Smith+Nephew's Orthopedic Shoulder products through strategic selling, clinical expertise, and strong customer partnerships. Responsibilities include providing operating room case coverage, technical support during procedures, and educational training for surgeons and clinical staff. This role also involves managing product inventory and collaborating across divisions to expand awareness and engagement with the Smith+Nephew Shoulder portfolio.

What will you need to be successful?
Technical experts who are confident in the OR and comfortable with surgical instrumentation, able to provide hands-on product and procedural training and support.
Results-oriented sellers who take ownership of their territory, consistently deliver on targets, and develop long-term customer relationships.
Proactive business builders who thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and take initiative to find and grow opportunities.
Collaborative teammates who work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.

What will you need?
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
3+ years of business-to-business sales experience or 7+ years of orthopedic/healthcare sales experience
Proven ability to develop and maintain key customer relationships
Demonstrated experience with clinical case support, training, or technical product support
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex material effectively
High sense of urgency and ownership; organized and able to manage inventory and logistics
Willingness to travel frequently (up to 90%) within the assigned territory
All field sales professionals must successfully complete Smith+Nephew's credentialing process, which may include proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience selling orthopedic shoulder products or working in the orthopedic/medical device industry
Experience in the OR and/or working with surgical staff and hospital systems
Ability to lift 20+ lbs. of instrument sets and maneuver within hospital and surgical environments
