Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Alumni Marketing leads the vision, strategic planning, and execution of the firm's alumni engagement program, focused on developing and strengthening meaningful relationships with alumni. This role collaborates closely across the Marketing and Communication organization and with other stakeholders to drive innovative alumni engagement initiatives. The Senior Manager will help design and oversee all facets of the alumni program including portal, LinkedIn group, social media presence, develops and implements engagement campaigns, manages program metrics, and ensures the program is recognized as a market leader. This position is responsible for a variety of activities including: budget management, event considerations, and the creation of communications strategies that foster alumni engagement and support the firm's goals.
Job Duties:
Leads the development and execution of the alumni engagement program's strategic plan
Collaborates with various stakeholders to align alumni initiatives with firm strategy
Manages the alumni database and LinkedIn group
Develops and implements alumni engagement campaigns, communications, and events
Collaborates on alumni-focused development, alumni relations and related marketing activities
Tracks and reports on program metrics and KPIs, including alumni demographics and engagement
Manages the alumni program budget and ensures effective resource allocation
Identifies and executes alumni-focused initiatives to support business development objectives
Partners with the talent team to identify career opportunities and resources for alumni
Refines and optimizes workflows and processes for program success
Creates and implements internal and external communications strategies, including newsletters, thought leadership, and social media outreach
Helps build an alumni program that is industry recognized
Familiarity with overall recruiting efforts for alignment
Other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees the development Alumni Marketing Manager, serves as a coach/mentor to this role and supports their career development and performance
and implementation of the Alumni Marketing team, training topics and cadence, including the onboarding of new team members
Tracks employee performance and reports progress to the team leader
Monitors the effectiveness of team structure and recommends changes, as needed
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor's degree, required
Focus in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Public Relations, preferred
Experience:
Eight (8) or more years in alumni relations, marketing, business development, or client relations, required
Experience managing large-scale engagement programs, required
Experience in a professional services or corporate environment, preferred
Software:
Proficiency in CRM systems, required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, required
Experience with web content management systems and social media platforms, preferred
Experience with Airtable, preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build relationships and collaborate across multiple teams

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $95,000 - $110,000
Maryland Range: $95,000 - $110,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $95,000 - $110,000
