Job Description

Teaches discipline specific coursework. 

Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days. This is a 9 Month faculty appointment with an opportunity for summer workload.

Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: Board of Certification (BOC) Athletic Trainer; Eligible for Ohio Athletic Training Licensure.

Minimum Qualifications: At least a master’s in athletic training degree; three or more years of clinical experience; and BOC certified Athletic Trainer.

Preferred Qualifications: Academic doctoral degree (Ph.D, Ed.D, DSc.). Clinical doctoral degree (DAT). Strong interest in the clinical education of students. Experience in research or planned research agenda, scientific writing including publications or grant writing. Experience teaching in an MAT program. Professional membership (NATA). Valid Ohio Athletic Training Licensure.
