Your Opportunity as the Lead Developer, Sales Operations & IS
The Lead Developer on the Sales Operations & IS Team actively participates in the planning, design, development and support activities related to systems and integrations. This technical hands-on position provides thought leadership on potential techniques for solutioning, serves as a mentor to other developers and collaborates across IS to deliver quality deliverables. This role will be focused primarily on developing and supporting scalable solutions (both new and existing) to integrate a variety of on-premise applications and cloud solutions.
Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)
Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires
In this role you will:
Application Delivery:
Serve as Technical Lead on small to medium size projects which includes creating a Solution Development Plan, as well as, managing and holding other developers accountable for the technical delivery
Be an individual contributor for development tasks on large projects
Publish technical specifications and support documentation
Follow documented standards for development, code promotion, and change management practices
Provide guidance to business partners on favorable technologies and platforms during new application selection
Adopt a learning mindset, continuous learning regarding development languages and computing platforms
Application Support:
Transactional applications and integrations (in & out) in scope to support: CAS TPM, Salesforce CRM, Sales reporting, several custom solutions, as well as, cross-team project and support opportunities during leaves and large project initiatives
Develop Technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support new or revised business processes
Reduce ongoing support demand by taking a proactive approach: suggest and implement support process improvements, superior development standards, code promotion processes and offer change management approach
Support applications that require SOX compliance and are examined annually by internal and external audit

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of work experience as a developer
Proven leadership in mentoring other developers in concepts and best practices. Model quality and consistency in execution, seeking and providing feedback on what is working well and what is not
Effective communication and collaboration skills - willing to constructively challenge and actively listen
Prior experience with batch and real-time integration fundamentals and procedures
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate large datasets
Problem solving or troubleshooting skills with ability to adapt to changing requirements
The ability to translate functional designs into technical designs that offer several potential solutions
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):
Prior experience with Trade Planning, Supply Chain, Sales, or financial systems and business processes
Understanding of SOX compliance and audit responsibilities
Demonstrated experience with Amazon AWS, Java, PHP, HTML/CSS, MS Azure, Informatica IICS, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft T-SQL, Python, Lambda, APEX Integrations & Workflows, SOQL, and/or Unix scripting
