ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations in respect to GMP’s, OSHA, HACCP, the Global Food Safety Initiative, the US FDA Food Safety Modernization Act as stated in the FS&Q Statement, and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company as listed in Corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and attend all required training sessions. Maintain the department/facility in an everyday audit ready condition.
- Operate all packaging equipment to designated production levels.
- Properly set up all packaging equipment.
- Meet and or exceed packaging standards as set by the company.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with Team Leader and maintenance technicians all repairs needed.
- Clean and maintain equipment and identify, report and/or repair defects.
- Participate in troubleshooting process.
- Maintain and correctly document food safety paperwork.
- Responsible for proper clean outs of all packaging equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and maintain the plant in an everyday audit ready state.
- Report any unsafe conditions or actions to company supervision immediately.
- Attend all training sessions as required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
