About the team:
The Enterprise Risk Management team works collaboratively with the business and throughout the Company to mitigate risk while supporting responsible growth of Worldpay. We're a diverse team with the potential to have a significant positive impact both internally and for our clients.
What you will be doing:
The primary responsibility of the Enterprise Risk Management team is to embed risk accountability into the first line whilst supporting the strategic objectives using your risk management expertise to ensure business objectives are achieved in a responsible and sustainable manner. You will be the Risk Officer for our North America (NA) region and the single point of contact representing the Worldpay Enterprise Risk team. On a day-to-day basis, you will lead numerous initiatives and priorities while partnering with stakeholders both within the NA Region and across the company to identify and mitigate risk.
Significant activities include:
Partnering with key stakeholders to address complex local issues, considering and prioritizing risk-reward decisions
Communicating effectively and professionally with Executive and Senior stakeholders
Exercising sound judgment in assessing potential risks; whilst working within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Monitoring and escalating issues to the relevant stakeholders
Serve as an escalation point
Present risk assessment results to the NA Boards
What you bring:
Experience with sound risk management practices including evaluation of risk and controls.
Experience of the local risk management requirements of each jurisdiction
Ability to effectively prioritize time to support business objectives.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
Effective communication skills and attention to detail
Unmatched work ethic and strong sense of ownership
Ability to creatively solve problems and achieve company objectives.
Added bonus if you have:
Knowledge of merchant acquiring services
Experience of Board level reporting
Knowledge of local Risk Management requirements
