Delaware company in need of a maintenance technician:
Shift - Saturday - Tuesday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
This company is a prime manufacturer and converter of quality non-woven, tissue and toweling products.
The Maintenance position needs to be a person with well-rounded maintenance skills including the following:
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
- Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics systems.
- Basic Multi-meter skills.
- Knowledge of performing preventive and predictive maintenance.
- PLC knowledge a plus.
- Trouble shooting and problem solving skills a must.
- Knowledge and use of hand tools.
- Basic welding skills.( Mig welding/ Tig welding) a plus.
- Ability to wire a 480v motor.
- Ability to fabricate.
Experience and Skills:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Able to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Must speak and understand English
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
- Great attendance is required
- Good communication skills are required
