The Opportunity:

As a data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve challenges. As a Data Analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data analyst like you to bring your knowledge to the client and their research grant programs.

As a client-facing data analyst on our team, you'll work closely with your Booz Allen peers and clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you'll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on technologies that address future space exploration and scientific discovery needs of the client, federal agencies, and the commercial space sector.

Work with us to help drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights. This position is located in Cleveland, Ohio.

What You'll Work On:

Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.

Research, develop, and test data methodologies and generate cross-functional solutions through capturing, analyzing, and visualizing of large data sets.

Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.

Apply presentation and communication skills and data analytics experience by simplifying technical requirements and trends, based on audience.

Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases, scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or R, and Microsoft Office suite.

Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.

Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides.

Grow your communication and technical skills by merging consulting and big data to create data-centric solutions across the organization.

You Have:

2+ years of experience with data analysis

Experience with Python

Experience with Microsoft Power App or Power Automateand Dataverse

Experience handling structured and unstructured data

Knowledge of development environments and processes

Ability to multitask and prioritize

Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience supporting government clients

Knowledge of analytical challenges or needs

Ability to communicate to technologists and data scientists

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
