Warehouse Sorting Lead

About the Job

Staffmark is looking for a motivated Warehouse Sorting Lead to join our team in Steubenville, OH. In this role, you'll oversee sorting operations, ensure quality control, and keep projects on track-all while guiding and supporting your team. If you have experience managing employees and enjoy hands-on leadership, this is the perfect opportunity to take your career to the next level!

Pay: $22-26/hour

Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Take daily and weekly photos documenting cargo sorting progress

Oversee sorting operations and ensure adherence to work instructions

Inspect bagged cargo for contaminants and quality, marking bags as QC checked

Manage repeated inspections (3-4 times per bag) until bags are full

Follow detailed customer sorting instructions

Work closely with sorters, providing feedback and guidance

Prepare and deliver short reports on project status to customers and stakeholders

Qualifications:

Experience supervising employees and handling reporting duties

Strong attention to detail and communication skills
