Summary
The Laboratory Data Coordinator acts as a versatile resource for laboratory data management, quality control, and project execution. This individual serves as a liaison between clients and the laboratory regarding required testing and reporting. They are responsible for the accuracy of data, preparation of analytical deliverables and responding to all customer communications.
Responsibilities
Establish Data Quality Objectives and create profiles for individual clients, projects and contracts.
Interface with clients regarding required testing; share specific client test requirements with the laboratory.
Upload required laboratory data, narrate analytical and QC outliers, compile final report and documents for submission.
Notify customers of problems or issues identified during the sample receiving process and working with clients for resolution.
Provide information to clients regarding pricing, analytical methods and lab capabilities.
Coordinate sampling schedules with clients and working in concert with the sample receiving department to streamline this process.
Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, or other physical science preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a laboratory setting preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements
Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
Ability to successfully communicate with a diverse audience.
Strong computer skills (Intermediate to advanced in Excel an LIMS database use)
Valid state driver's license

Physical and Working Conditions
