Job Summary:

The HR Operations Senior Professional, working under minimal supervision, is responsible for managing HR programs and processes to ensure effective and efficient HR operations with specific focus on leave administration, ADA, and Worker's Compensation. This role ensures compliance and consistency in the administration of company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including employment laws. The role conducts HR program compliance audits, evaluates adherence to service level agreements, and contributes expertise to HR initiatives and projects. The role serves as a coach and mentor to other HR Operations employees.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversees the development, implementation and administration of HR programs and processes including leave and ADA, recognition and other employee related programs (i.e. Workers Compensation and Employee Discount programs).
Manages all aspects of leave administration in partnership with external vendors. Conducts the ADA interactive process ensuring compliance and support for employees requiring accommodations.
Conducts regular audits of HR programs, including leave and ADA cases, to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Monitors HR Help Desk service requests to track progress and adherence to service level agreements / milestones and proactively addresses delays or issues.
Ensures compliance and consistency in the administration of company policies, procedures and legal requirements, including employment laws.
Provides clear interpretation and guidance to managers and employees on company policies, procedures and HR programs.
Contributes to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects, providing expertise and executing on deliverables.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with external vendors to ensure quality and customer services needs are met.
Collaborates with HR subject matter experts to create and maintain HR-Related content in the HRMS System and Knowledgebase.
Creates and delivers training programs for employees, managers and HR team members on topics related to HR Operations and programs.
Generates and analyzes HR metrics and reports to support decision-making and effectiveness of HR programs.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and recommends best practices.
Mentors the HR Operations team, providing informal leadership and training.
Serves as an escalation point for responding to customer questions, resolving issues and responding to HR inquiries.

Job Qualifications:

5+ years of overall experience in Human Resource Operations or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources or related field and/or commensurate experience.
Experience with leave administration, ADA and Workers Compensation strongly preferred.
