Community Support Services (CSS), a leader in behavioral healthcare for adults living with severe and persistent mental illnesses is in search of a Full-Time Homeless Outreach Worker to do aggressive case finding of persons who are homeless and mentally ill and not a part of any mental health system. The Homeless Outreach Worker will engage individuals who are homeless in mental health services and assist with accessing housing and entitlements. The Outreach Worker will make contact with the persons to be served in non-traditional settings such as meal sites, shelters, the street, abandoned buildings, etc.
Employment Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in working with persons who have a severe mental illness required.
Necessary Requirements: A car and a valid Ohio driver's license and insurability through the Agency's insurance carrier. Ability to work a flexible work schedule
