Job Description

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Developers for Remote role

Position Title: Full Stack Developers

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: 28th -July-2025

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 6 months contract with a potential to be extended.

Job Type: [FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY), [CONTRACT], [Remote]

Pay Range: $60/hr - $70/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

1 Full Stack Developers is needed, located in Canada only. Fully remote. 6 months project with a potential to be extended.

Must-Have Technology Experience:

Backend (Java & Microservices)
1 Java (Spring boot) - Strong expertise in Java 17+ and Spring Boot for backend development.
2 Microservices Architecture - Experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications.
3 Containers & Orchestration - Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.
4 JBPM / BPMN Workflow Tools - Experience with JBPMN or similar workflow automation tools.
5 Messaging & Event Streaming - Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ for event-driven architectures.
6 Restful APIs - Strong understanding of building scalable REST APIs.

Frontend (JavaScript & Frameworks)
1 Angular or React.js - Proficiency in development responsive UIs using React.js or Angular.
2 TypeScript - Experience with TypeScript for type-safe frontend development.
3 State Management - Experience with Redux, or NgRx for managing application state.

Nice-to-Have Technology Experience:
1 Elasticsearch - Implementing search and analytics use cases.
2 Observability & Logging - Open Telemetry, Prometheus, or Datadog for monitoring and logging.
3 API Security - Knowledge of oAuth2, OpenID connect, and API security best.
4 CI/CD & DevOps - Hands-on experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform for automation.
