Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance, facility services, or related trades
Skills in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, drywall, and general handyman work preferred
Valid driver's license
Ability to read safety protocols, operating manuals, and write reports
Proficiency with hand and power tools and basic building systems knowledge
Building Services Technician Responsibilities:
Perform nightly building closures: secure entrances, turn off lights, activate security alarms
Complete on-demand maintenance work orders outside regular business hours
Conduct preventive maintenance and routine facility inspections
Manage meeting room setups, furniture moves, carpet stain removal
Handle minor repairs: lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, drywall patching
Collaborate with service providers and internal teams to resolve facility issues
Communicate clearly with team members, staff, and external clients
