Wieland is hiring a Pressure Vessel Welder II. The Pressure Vessel Welder II will be responsible for ...... Working from shop drawing, procedures or other written, verbal, or electronic instruction, perform a wide variety of operations associated with welded assembly of final product, sub-assemblies and components for products which includes adherence to ASME Code Safety Regulations. This role is located in Delaware, Ohio and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $25.00

Schedule:

Weekday Shift

Monday - Thursday

6:00am-4:30pm

Weekend Shift

Friday-Sunday

6:00am-6:00pm

Shift Differential: $1.50/hr.

Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly


Responsibilities




Pressure Vessel Welder II Responsibilities:

Following the production orders, prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
Execute welds in accordance with company`s procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.
Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.
Identify and implement safety improvements.

Pressure Vessel Welder II Qualifications:

At least 1 year experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels.
Experience and certification in welding in accordance to ASME standard - certified with the company for welding of parts under pressure.
Ability to read and apply WPS, read drawings.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues related to fitting and welding components.
Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
Methodical, organized, and precise.
Proactive in proposing solutions
