Barnes has an exciting and challenging career opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in its Force and Motion Control SBU, Maumee, OH. Core Responsibilities:
Prepare and organize export documentation for all export orders.
Schedule shipments on customer websites and external freight carrier sites.
Maintain shipment paperwork and file per the records retention policy
Work with warehouse associates to ensure regular scheduled shipments are completed on time and with correct labelling and paperwork.
Communicate with customer service and other distribution facilities on status/schedule of shipments
Use a forklift to assist in loading trucks as needed
Billing orders in the ERP system as needed
Perform tasks as assigned by management.
Conducts job duties in accordance with Barnes Group Code of Ethics and Values.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-3 years' experience with warehouse and/or manufacturing responsibilities, required
Minimum of 1+ years' experience in logistics, preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, focused on Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
Experience working in an ERP system, preferred
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
Good attention to detail
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
