Job Summary

Are you in search of an opportunity that offers exceptional benefits and prospects for advancement? We are on the lookout for a highly driven individual to fill the position of loader operator on our team. The ideal candidate will operate heavy machinery and contribute to the production of hot mix asphalt at our manufacturing sites in the Cincinnati and Dayton regions.

Main Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment, including loaders, in a safe and efficient manner
Assist the production process of the mix according to established procedures
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, as needed
Collaborate optimally with team and customers to ensure smooth operations
Participate in all safety related activities to ensure you are following regulations and company policies
Organization and movement of all materials

Education

High school diploma or equivalent experience. Vocational school graduation is a plus

Skills

Previous experience equipment and/or working in an HMA plant is preferred
Good mechanical skills for equipment repair and fabrication is desirable
Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours based on market demands
MSHA certification is considered a plus

Physical Requirements

Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods, sometimes in adverse weather conditions
Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE), as required.
Frequent exposure to loud noise
Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
