Transportation Driver
Job Summary:
The Transportation Driver is responsible for transporting clients to and from assigned destinations in a safe, timely, and professional manner. This position requires adherence to company policies, strong customer service skills, and the ability to assist passengers as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
Safely transport clients according to assigned routes and schedules.
Advocate for and assist individuals who may require support outside of transportation services.
Document all trips before departure and upon completion.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for property damage, cleanliness, and mileage, and sanitize vehicles before each shift.
Maintain a clean personal appearance and wear the assigned uniform.
Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Welcome and acknowledge all riders, providing courteous and respectful service.
Assist individuals with disabilities in accordance with policy and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers via email, cell phone, two-way radio, or computer.
Maintain positive working relationships with clients and professional partners.
Exhibit professional behavior and safe driving habits at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
At least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with no more than four points.
Ability to pass a drug screen, FBI and BCI background checks, and T8 Physical.
Personal vehicle in good repair (if working as a contractor); company vehicle may be provided for regular employees.
Completion of certification process upon hire.
Availability Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–9:00 am and 1:30 pm–4:00 pm; occasional weekends and holidays may be required.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to stand, sit, walk, or run for extended periods, and move/lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
