Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer / Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and be willing to learn various tasks related to warehouse operations and machinery. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our production processes and ensuring that all safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of machinery, including saws, shears, grinders, CNC machines, stamping presses, and press brake machines.
- Assist in the packaging and handling of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
- Drive forklifts for material handling and transportation within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow within the manufacturing facility.
- Safely operate machinery and follow all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean work environment and always adhere to safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience operating machinery such as grinders, saws, forklifts, and press brake machines is a plus.
- Familiarity with machining processes, including CNC operation, is beneficial.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- A commitment to maintaining safety standards in all aspects of work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when needed.
Working Conditions
- Shop environment with temperature variations depending on the season.
- PPE required, including welding helmet, gloves, and protective clothing.
- Overtime or shift work may be required depending on project needs.

Wage: starting rate is $23.50/hour
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 5:30 am to 2 pm (with overtime)
