Description
Location: Youngstown State University
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00pm - 1:00am; May require working weekends for sporting events as needed.
FLSA: Nonexempt
Schedule staff and assure adequate coverage for site duties
Follow the daily job routine in the order it is outlined.
Use the correct step by step procedure for each cleaning task.
Follow manufacturer's recommendations for use of all cleaning solutions and equipment.
Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment.
Assigns tasks to workers, and inspects completed work for conformance to standards.
Maintain, order and issue supplies and equipment including inventory of needed supplies.
Maintain all equipment, supplies, or supply rooms in and orderly fashion.
Resolves workers' problems or refers matters to Area Manager.
Submits requests for repair of equipment to Area Manager.
Assist in performing duties of workers supervised.
Ensure a level of cleanliness which meets the quality expectations of the customer.
Always interact with fellow employees and public caretaker in a courteous and friendly manner.
Contributes information for employees' annual reviews as requested.
Performs and completes payroll as required
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years related experience and/or training preferred. Previous supervisor experience strongly preferred.
Ability to multi-task and strong communication skills are necessary to be successful.
