Working under a licensed professional engineer. Bridge design and analysis, including substructures, superstructures, foundations, and deck Design. Completion of bridge design calculations via manual design methods and computer programs. Preparation of bridge design plans and progress submittals, engineering reports, quantity calculations, cost estimates and other technical documents. Review of bridge plans and design calculations. Bridge load rating calculations. Minor bridge inspection to identify areas of necessary bridge rehabilitation. Additional structural design for elements such as culverts, sign structures, retaining walls, specialty structures, and other related items. Apply knowledge of the following: AutoCAD, Microstation, LEAP, RC Pier, ABAQUS, Mathcad.

Position requires a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field and twenty-four (24) months of experience. Twenty-four (24) months of experience must have included: AutoCAD, Microstation, LEAP, RC Pier, ABAQUS, Mathcad. $93,000.18/year.
