Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Route Manager to oversee and support our team of drivers, ensuring efficient route operations and superior customer satisfaction. This role combines leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on service, including the possibility of filling in on delivery routes when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily driver schedules and delivery routes for maximum efficiency.
Serve as a primary contact for customer accounts, ensuring service excellence.
Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
Monitor route performance and implement improvements when necessary.
Train, coach, and support drivers to maintain company standards.
Fill in as a driver when needed, completing deliveries and pickups.
Maintain compliance with all company safety protocols and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
Proven leadership and customer service skills.
Experience managing delivery operations or similar logistics functions preferred.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, bending, lifting.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
