Job Overview

Oversees daily functions, ensuring organizational efficiency by managing staff, volunteers, budgets, and facilities. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational processes, managing IT and office infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting staff and volunteers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations and implement efficient processes to meet organizational goals. 
  • Staff & Volunteer Management: Supervise and support staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. 
  • Facilities & IT: Manage the physical office space, including maintenance and vendors, and oversee technology, databases, and information systems. 
  • Financial Oversight: Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and the administration of employee benefits. 
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to relevant regulations and standards. 
  • Strategic Support: Contribute to strategic planning and develop operating procedures and policy manuals. 
  • Vendor & Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with external vendors and stakeholders. 

 

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams. 
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with staff, vendors, and stakeholders. 
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial reports, accounting processes, and budgeting. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with MS Office, databases, and management software. 
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing needs and circumstances. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. Bachelors degree is negotiable. 
  • Experience in nonprofit operations or management.
  • Experience in HR, finance, IT, and facilities management is often preferred.
