JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for a User Experience Researcher [Multiple Positions Available] in Columbus, Ohio.
LOCATION: 1111 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240. This position requires up to 30% domestic travel to client sites.
DUTIES: Drive the development of new research studies based on business strategy and knowledge gaps. Drive product discovery planning with design and product partners. Create presentations that connect customer needs and abilities with business goals. Coach junior researchers in shaping studies and findings to realize greater impacts. Lead cross-functional design thinking exercises using research findings as a starting point. Identify UX metrics for tracking. Prepare and teach introductory trainings on experience research for other user experience practitioners. Develop stakeholder relationships and scope changes throughout research studies. Present findings to team members and stakeholders from multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Behavioral Science, User Experience, Information Architecture or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as User Experience (UX) Researcher, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Behavioral Science, User Experience, Information Architecture or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as User Experience (UX) Researcher, or related occupation. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Planning and executing moderated and unmoderated remote studies conducting Usability Testing; Defining the research agenda and scope within product strategy and business needs; Planning and conducting research using methodologies including concept testing, semi-structure interviews, co-designs, surveys, and contextual inquiries; Creating and conducting user testing using UserZoom and UserTesting; Facilitating working sessions and collaborating using Miro, and FigJam; Collaborating with designers and project managers and documenting project status and progress using Confluence; Tracking project work using Jira; Preparing concept mockups and conducting tests of user interface designs using design tools including Sketch and Adobe XD; Developing visual models illustrating customer needs, including current and future state experiences, risk, strategic opportunities, user behaviors, user flows, and business impacts using Miro, Figma, and FigJam; Planning and executing longitudinal diary studies on platforms including Recollective and DSCOUT.
