Job Description

Provides instruction primarily in undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in anatomy/physiology and general biology. Assists in the development of online anatomy/physiology sections. Multi-section laboratory coordination duties, such as management of graduate-level laboratory teaching assistants, may be assigned as needed. Designs, organizes, teaches, and provides summative feedback to promote and direct student learning. 

Position Information: Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, including some evenings.

Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None

 

Minimum Qualifications: Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences; and teaching experience in college-level biology courses.

 

Preferred Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a related discipline. Lecture and laboratory teaching experience in anatomy/physiology courses, including courses of eighty or more students.
