Create, maintain, and manage multiple models project schedules to meet overall schedule milestones and deliverables. Accurately roll-up cost (piece price and investment) for each New Model (NM) event, and report cost and project status at NM Evaluations to Procurement Leadership. Create and manage NM cost targets through cost correlation activity with design, effectively managing performance and implementing countermeasure plans accordingly (annual supplier spend $3.2B/$38M investment). Develop and manage the coordination of cost table activity for use in supplier negotiation. Represent the Department in project team meetings, theme activity, and evaluations; communicating across DEB areas to share ideas and gain consensus on key decisions and milestones. Mentor associates within group on problem solving, procedures, and fostering development.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; 6 years of relevant professional experience; 6 years of experience with 3D & 2D analysis, including CAD visualization, measurements, raw material specs, annotation to accurate part estimation and procurement; 4 years of experience with FACTON, including estimating software to develop Optimal Cost & Targets; 4 years of experience with piece price calculator, including cost model creation; 3 years of experience with cost analysis; 3 years of experience working with Catia V5 and V6; 3 years of experience working with 2D and 3D drawings; 3 years of experience creating a logical cost from a drawing or design concept; 2 years of experience with Design Thinking, including lead of process flow; and 2 years of experience with ARIBA for sourcing, including Tool competition.
