Overview
Economy Linen and Towel Service, Inc., the region's premier linen provider to the hospitality and healthcare market, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in electrical systems, project management, and supervising maintenance teams. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment, while also fostering a safe working environment.

Previous experience in the linen or a closely related industry will move you to the front of consideration.

Duties

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing direction and support in daily operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee high voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Interpret and work with schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
  • Fabricate necessary components or modifications to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Manage projects related to facility upgrades or new installations from inception through completion.
  • Train staff on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a maintenance management role or similar position.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing.
  • Solid understanding of high voltage systems and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with project management principles to oversee maintenance projects efficiently.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
