Primary Job Duties:

Generally, instruction hours will take place from 8am to 4:30 pm 5 days per week. 

Instructors will train students in classroom, in the yard, and on the road per the ELDT guidelines and OAC regulations for both Class A and Class B students.

Monitor student progress, identify any gaps in skills and provide additional assistance as necessary to aid in student success.

Maintain proper documentation, including daily attendance, tracking, evaluations, etc..

Emphasize safety concepts, principles, and procedures.

Other Job Duties

Keep vehicles clean and fueled.

Report any mechanical issues to the shop.

Work with other instructors to aid students’ success.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Stay up to date on changes in training and testing.

Details: Full time.  First Shift 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday

Qualifications: Class A CDL license

Available Benefits: Paid Holidays, Paid-Time-Off

Pay rate:

$23.00 - $28.00/hour
