Daikin Applied is seeking a versatile and adaptable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Intern to join our team. The intern will play a key role in supporting various initiatives related to safety and compliance, involving collaboration with internal stakeholders and the implementation of specific systems.
This position will be 5 days a week in office.
What you will do:
Assist in efforts related to our safety initiatives, aligning with the team's overarching goals.
Provide support for the deployment of several systems.
Engage in safety assessments and contribute to data entry tasks.
Foster collaboration with diverse Daikin businesses, ensuring a harmonious transition and alignment with safety objectives.
Participate in the reevaluation of data to maintain its quality and accuracy during ongoing safety processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in BS in Health, Safety, Engineering, or a similar degree program.
Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the summer
Individuals must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Live within 300 miles of our facility
The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $24/hr - $25/hr. Thisrepresentsthe pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
