Fast growing manufacturing company in the West Chester area, is looking for an experienced maintenance technician. This individual would install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
• Observes and discusses machine operation with supervisors, operators, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery and performs other preventive maintenance duties
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and/or pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment where applicable
• Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, and fixtures, and tools
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
• Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures

ISO

• Assist in Development of any ISO related policies/procedures for your function
• Adhere to Company ISO policies/procedures
• Other projects and duties as may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or Vocational Education required.  Minimum 3 years-experience in Maintenance field

Language Skills:

Basic language skills required.

 Mathematical Skills:

 Basic math skills required.

Reasoning Ability:

Individual must have ability to make independent decisions that may be of a complex nature. 

Computer Skills:

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Excel and Word and affiliated software packages.   Individual must possess the capability to function within the Epicor database application on a daily basis.

Skills and Abilities:

Individual must possess the interpersonal skills communicate with coworkers. Have the ability to understand and apply Lean Manufacturing Concepts.
