Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our complex and critical systems infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and optimal performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Duties to be independently executed include but are not limited to:
Serve as the technical expert for systems engineering methodologies, tools and processes related to pre-program of record technical development.
Lead and/or participate in the design, development, and integration of systems, subsystems, and components, from concept through production and sustainment.
Conduct detailed analysis and modeling of systems, including performance, effectiveness, and vulnerability assessments.
Develop and maintain system specifications, technical documentation, and engineering drawings.
Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify system performance and compliance with requirements.
Analyze test data, identify performance issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to systems.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and team members.
Stay abreast of advancements in technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program management, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications:

10 years of systems engineering experience on complex systems, with 3 years' experience using modern digital engineering tools and processes to perform system engineering tasks.
In-depth knowledge of system of systems and system design principles, technologies, and architectures.
Proficient understanding of system engineering principles and processes.
Proficiency in digital engineering software/tools (e.g., MATLAB, Atlassian, ANSYS, CAMEO, Team Work Cloud, CAD software, AFSIM, etc.)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of relevant military standards and specifications.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a Specific Engineering Discipline, e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.

Even better if you have these desired skills:

Experience in data management and visualization tools like Power BI.
Master's degree in a Specific Engineering Discipline, e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.

Clearance Requirements:

Must possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
