Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Newark, Ohio. In this role, you will be pivotal in overseeing projects that align with our mission of delivering exceptional construction services. Your leadership will contribute significantly to the success of our diverse project portfolio.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion.

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct project estimating in a manner that awarded projects are attainable within contract quotes and timelines.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Review and interpret blueprints/shop drawings and other project documents to formulate accurate management approach.
  • Implement change management processes to address project scope adjustments effectively.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in timely billing, approval of invoices, regular review of job costs, reports, project history, and purchase order history.
  • Work with Project Coordinators in personnel alignment and scheduling to facilitate weekly action plans.
  • Monitor project performance using relevant metrics and reporting tools.
  • Inform, clarify, and confer weekly project progress with managers.
  • Cultivate a working relationship with managers, supervisors, fellow workers, and customers that encourage a cooperative environment.
  • Understands and follows NEC, state, and local codes.
  • Enforce OSHA requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and practical experience
  • Proven experience as a Electrical Project Manager in the electrical construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost control processes.
  • Fire Alarm License a plus
  • Completion of an Accredited Apprenticeship Program a plus
  • A valid driver’s License
