SSOE is seeking a Structural Engineering Co-op for Spring 2026. This position is an onsite role that requires you to work at our Toledo Office each day. Remote or hybrid work for this role is not available.

Responsibilities




The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

Performs assigned tasks under close supervision of Department Manager or designee. Receives specific and detailed instruction.
Basic computer, Revit or AutoCAD skills a plus.
Learns and uses department standards, methods, and procedures respective to field of study.
Meets various deadlines on daily duties or special projects as assigned by DM or designee.
Occasional local travel may required for client visits.
Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.


Qualifications




Students must be enrolled in a ABET accredited engineering school majoring in Civil or Architectural Engineering or technically related discipline.
Rising Junior or Senior academic year preferred.
Must be registered with the Office of Professional Experience Program or equivalent.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Salary range: $20-$23 per hour depending on year in school.
