REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 12/01/2025-05/31/2026. Must agree to work Mon-Fri, 6 hours per day, Sat, 5 hours. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 0 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 75 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen, Certification/license requirements, and Driver requirements.
JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse including: Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures such as housing, barns, bins; Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping such as trash cleanup & disposal, rock picking, weed trimming, lawn mowing, washing equipment, floors & buildings; Maintain operational records of biosecurity protocols and visitor logs; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment such as elevators, augers, sweeps, fans, floors, & loadouts; Set up and operate irrigation & manure equipment including drainage tile; Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, manure, gypsum, lime, and other materials to condition; Clear snow and ice; Attend to live farm animals; Perform herd health & care, vaccinations, euthanasia; Keep herd fed & watered regularly; Remove & compost dead loss; Wean baby pigs; Must speak English; Occasional delivery & pickup that requires workers to be on duty beyond the end of the normal work day is possible; however, employer will pay for all hours worked and provide any necessary meals while workers move to and from these locations; workers will always return to the employer provided housing listed on form ETA 790A. Must speak and understand English.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:
BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.
TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.
TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
