Position: Housing Investigator
Location: Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula, and Trumbull Counties
Hours: Part-Time
Pay: Excellent hourly pay with flexible scheduling
Position Id: 3146

Position Overview:
We’re seeking detail-oriented and objective individuals to serve as Housing Investigators. This role is similar to a “secret shopper” experience but focused on housing opportunities. Investigators will pose as typical home seekers, inquire about rental opportunities, and document their experiences to help ensure fair and equal housing practices within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow assigned instructions to gather information about housing practices

  • Complete detailed questionnaires and objective summaries about each experience

  • Communicate regularly with the project coordinator

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all investigations

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Strong attention to detail and observation skills

  • Proficient with basic computer and technology tools (email, forms, and reports)

  • Effective communication and writing skills

  • Reliable transportation required

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and remain objective

  • Must successfully complete required training
