MISSION: The Radio Frequency (RF) Test Engineer at NuWaves RF Solutions is responsible for defining, optimizing, and performing testing related to NuWaves new and existing products for Defense and Aerospace environments. This individual must work closely with Design Engineers, Project Management, Production and Quality to resolve issues and ensure customer requirements are met. Individuals must be capable of determining effective and efficient test strategies for boards, modules, and systems. Knowledge of manufacturing, production test, hardware design, and software development are required to successfully create solutions to meet the demands of the complex requirements of Defense and Aerospace customers. 

Performance Objectives:

• Define test strategies for boards, modules, and systems related to NuWaves products within 6 months. This includes optimization of test plans and procedures, text setups and fixtures, and embedded test resources to improve testability. 

• Perform testing using industry best practices to ensure test outputs are controlled and documented appropriately. 

• Work effectively across functions to optimize testing at all stages of the product lifecycle. 

• Generate a working understanding of NuWaves’ business system within 60 days, with the goal of contributing to system improvements thereafter. This includes understanding the company strategy and working within NuWaves’ Quality Management System. 

Typical Education and Experience: 

• Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or related field

• 2-6 years hardware testing in Aerospace and Defense industry

• Knowledgeable of LabView, SQL databases, and Python programming

U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.

Typical Salary: $80K - $110K
