Curriculum Coordinator II

Summary:

The Curriculum Coordinator II provides advanced coordination and implementation of the curriculum in their designated college. This role supports faculty, staff, and students by ensuring smooth delivery of academic programs, overseeing curriculum logistics, and maintaining compliance with accreditation standards. This position also contributes to process improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of the curriculum.

 

Principal Functional Responsibilities:

Course Preparation: Coordinate the planning and implementation of assigned courses and program components. Duties include but are not limited to: coordinate course meetings support faculty in course scheduling and syllabi development, schedule/reserve facility and technology resources, and develop/manage timelines for course implementation. Coordinate student assessments, grading, and feedback processes in collaboration with faculty.

Course Delivery: Manage and update curricular content in LMS or designated software, maintain secure and confidential student information and records. Assist with session implementation, coordination and utilization of education technology for content delivery, and dissemination of information. Assist with the coordination of all logistics and administrative tasks for identified session presenters.

Service and Communication Excellence: Serve as principal administrative contact and customer service liaison with students and faculty, to provide excellent service and communication and interact professionally to create a favorable impression of NEOMED .

Record Keeping: Track student attendance, student assignment completion, grade submissions, course expenditures, and assist with processing honoraria.

Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Allied Health or related field, or equivalent in education and experience

• Knowledge of exam software and learning management system (LMS )

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in higher education or a related field with experience in curriculum development and coordination

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Curriculum Coordinator I position or relevant related experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.

 

Department Specific Information:

Starting salary range $47,689-$56,432, commensurate with experience.
