CNC Maintenance Technician

Cincinnati, OH

Primary Job Duties:

• Provide mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, machine controller, and manufacturing support systems maintenance duties using current maintenance practices.

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including CNC machines, grinders, air compressors, screw machines, and all other manufacturing systems plant wide using manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

• Work on project type work that may include welding and fabrication.

• Reading manuals and blueprints.

• Self-directed requiring minimal supervision and able to prioritize work duties to reflect frequent changes, delays, and/or unexpected events.

• Work daily with the manufacturing personnel to help with startup and training of operators.

• Review the safety requirements of all equipment and make sure the equipment is being used properly and adhere to all safety guidelines at all times.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines at all times.

• Maintain a clean work area.

• Employee has an individual responsibility to report all possible deficiencies or practices that could compromise safety, quality, and production.

• Document work to AS9100 standards.

• Work with outside vendors to assess, coordinate and complete all service/repair related projects.

• Follow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and Philosophies.

• Maintain acceptable attendance.

• Any specifically assigned task.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

• Associate degree in a technical field, or High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years of related technical work experience, or CNC field service experience.

• Ability to use tools, equipment, and work aids, such as precision gauges and measuring instruments.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organization ability.

• Microsoft Office software

• Mechanical and electrical trouble shooting abilities.

• Experience disassembling/reassembling major equipment for PM rebuilds with limited supervision by following electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

• Working knowledge on gear/belt drives, motor/pump systems, inverters, Servo motors, CNC controls.

• Knowledge of Fanuc controls a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting up to 50lbs, including bending, twisting, crouching, etc.

• Must be able to stand for 10-hour work shift

• Must be able to work with oils/coolants

• Must be able to work in noisy environment
