Pay Rate: $17.98
4 days a week/ 10-hour shifts
5:45am-4:30pm 1st Shift (Mondays have an early start time of 5am)
The position is considered "safety sensitive" which requires the passing of an independently administered drug screen.
General Job Description:
Operate Box making machine in a safe and responsible manner following the Box Erector SOP.
Major Responsibilities and task/ duties of the position:
* Operate the box making machine and supply it with flat stock and replace internal components based on box size needs.
* Transport pallets of box stock with pallet jack
* Maintain the area clean
* Make boxes manually
* Replenish glue dispenser
* Data entry for changeover
* Must have the ability to be present at work on time, follow directions and interact well with co-workers
* Employees must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP's related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF)
* Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities
* Support special projects and other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Job Specific Competencies:
Previous experience working with equipment in a production process, and be able to work in a fast pace production environment.
Previous Box Machine Operating experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 50Lbs. Able to work in a cold temperature (35F)
Work Hour Requirements:
Ability to work overtime
Ability to work weekends
