Position Title: Front Desk Associate
Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable Front Desk Associate to be the first point of contact for guests at our hotel. This position plays a key role in delivering excellent guest service by handling check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience throughout each guest’s stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, professional attitude
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel’s property management system
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to emails or guest inquiries
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Handle payment transactions, issue room keys, and maintain guest records
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure room readiness
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
- Follow all hotel safety and security procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Proficiency in basic computer and office systems; knowledge of hotel software is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in busy or stressful situations
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
