The position of production zone team leader – is to be the “flight attendant” for production – 70% on the floor Daily Expectations:
• Follow all safety rules.
• Supervising operations within a zone to achieve higher output
• Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team
• Support getting associate to their work center on time.
• Assist on getting associates safety supplies.
• Direct associates who have questions about which work center they are to be working.
• Hand out labor tickets and production labels. Verifying they match.
• Wear a radio to be able to answer associates who call for assistance. Go to work center to understand concern or question. Contact Maintenance or Material Handler when needed.
• Assist with line changes
• Assist with putting up material when needed. Foil, facing & glass.
• Printing production labels, labor tickets when needed.
• Inputting production results when needed.
• Assist in improving production rate.
• Assist in reducing scrap.
• Run production line as needed thru breaks & lunch.
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Fluent English and Spanish are a plus
• Good employee standing/attendance
• Basic understanding of safety, quality standards and efficiency rate.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (molding, stamping and waterjet)
• Basic understanding of raw materials (fiberglass, fabric, steel and binder).
• Good communication & coaching skills
• Computer skills (Excel Intermediate)
Hours' shift - Monday - Thursday (5:00 am - 3:00 pm)
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $22.00 hourly.
