Job Description: The Canton Woman’s Club in Canton, OH, has multiple Server / Dishwasher (Part Time) openings.

 

Summary:

We are offering Part Time Server / Dishwasher positions for people wanting to supplement their income. The historic Canton Woman's Club is a members’ club as well as a community event center. You will find the club to have a friendly, supportive work environment. The club has high standards, is respectful to its staff and appreciates their service. 

 

Server Job Duties:

  • ReviewFunctionSheetsformenu,guestcountandspecialset-upinstructions.
  • Preparetheroomfortheeventincludingappropriatelighting,equipmentand placement of tables, chairs and tray stands.
  • Dressthetableswithcleanlinens,placesettings,centerpiecesandcondiments.
  • Whenset-upiscomplete,ensurethatallareasoftheroomarecleanandready for guests.
  • Preparethebeverages.
  • Servefood,beveragesanddessert.
  • Clearthetables,launderthelinens,sanitizetheroom.
  • Resettheroom.
  • PerformotherdutiesasinstructedbytheLeadServer.

 

Dishwasher Job Duties:

  • Set up dishwasher for dishwashing as instructed in written or verbal instructions.
  • Be sure all chemical and soap dispensers are filled or changed as necessary.
  • Read and understand instructions for the used chemicals and soaps, etc.
  • Remove rough waste from dishes in preparation for washing. Soak flatware in preparation for washing. Empty glasses in preparation for washing. Place items in proper racks. Do not overload items.
  • When machine is running, check temperature gauges for proper washing and rinsing temperature of 180 degrees.
  • Remove washed items from racks and hand dry them to prevent spots and properly store them.
  • Clean machine, inside and out, at end of shift. (See closing procedure sheet.)
  • Clean surfaces used and sweep and mop floor.
  • Dispose of waste in outside dumpster.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Abilitytopush,pull,orliftatleast50lbs.usingproperbodymechanics.
  • Abilitytoworkstanding,walking,ormovingfor3-4hourswithoutneedingtosit down.
  • Abilitytowalkupanddownstepscarryingatrayoffood.
  • Abilitytoassistwithmovingtablesandchairs.
  • Adherence to grooming and appearance standards.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with other kitchen and serving team staff.
  • Basicmathskills.

 

Details: Part time. Hours/week vary. Sunday through Saturday, Rotating. Wage based on experience.
