REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 11/20/2025-02/28/2026. Must agree to work Mon-Fri, 10 hours per day, Sat, 5 hours. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 3 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 50 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen.
JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.
AEWR; US Workers: OH: $14.38; H2A Workers: OH: $13.15. Operate and monitor grain conditioning tools to ensure efficient and safe conditioning of grain to meet quality standards; Load and unload hoppers and containers with products using hand-trucks, forklifts, suction gates, shovels, pitchforks, brooms; Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information; Place products in containers according to grade; Weigh products or estimate their weight, visually or by feel; Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter, and place acceptable products in containers for further processing; Guide products to regulate flow and to discard diseased or rotten products; Monitor and report grain moisture and grades; Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and surrounding facilities; Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team; Load semi-trucks with hopper bottom trailers without over or underfilling trailers; drive and deliver grain to market using semi-trucks. Perform light welding and fabrication as needed. Operate fans and other equipment to condition grain and control moisture levels. Tear down and re-build wheel motors, pumps and other equipment. Move snow/ice as needed. This job will require workers to perform duties in cold and dusty conditions and will require repetitive physical movements. Must be able to speak and understand English.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:
BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.
TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.
TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
