Job Description: The Kenan Advantage Group in North Canton, OH, has multiple full-time Safety and Compliance Specialist I openings.

 

Position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for assisting with tasks to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain knowledge of FMCSA regulations and guidance regarding driver qualification
  • Ensure drivers meet qualification standards at the company, state and federal levels
  • Ensure disqualified drivers are not operating, and assist with the requalification process
  • Update driver qualification files with DOT physicals, CDLs and other items as applicable
  • Maintain data in driver database
  • Medically clear drivers on leave to return to work
  • Coordinate scheduling of physicals, drug and alcohol testing
  • Compliance with HIPAA

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel

 

Details: Full time. First Shift (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). 40 hours/week. Monday through Friday. $17.00 to $19.00/hour.

 

Qualifications: High school diploma / GED. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
