Whatyou'llown as theSoftware Engineer II
Develop andmaintain.NET applications using C# and ASP.NET.
Utilize AQT, Oracle SQLDeveloperand SQL Server Management Studio for database work.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and maintenance of database systems.
Conduct security code scans and fix vulnerabilities.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a .NET Developer with a strong focus on C# and ASP.NET (.NET Framework). Experience with .NET 8 is a plus.
Experience with Javascript/Javascript libraries (JQuery).
Proficiency in working with database tables and procedures to analyze data and logic.
Solid Understanding of SQL (PL/SQL, DB2 SQL and T-SQL).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
It's a bonus if you have
Experience with React is a plus
Certification in .NET development or related areas.
Knowledge around Cloud development (AWS) is a plus.

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $91,900.00 - $154,300.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
